YWAM Harpenden is a unique missionary community consisting of people from over 20 different nations, of all ages and callings. From global missionary leaders to young believers, we are all learning to live like Jesus . . . together. We long to equip and release a whole new wave of young people to transform nations with God’s love and His ways. Harpenden is one of YWAM’s international hubs, with staff and visitors telling stories of God’s work on a daily basis.

In the last few years one way to describe Highfield Oval is as an ‘oasis’. A place where both international missionaries and local believers come for refreshment, to be restored and re-equipped, and sent on their journey.

YWAM Harpenden is also a place of service. We practically support the local, national and international ministries of YWAM and the Church through relationships, communications and resources. To do that effectively we welcome servant-hearted people who long to put their practical skills directly into feeding, housing, welcoming and training missionaries. Everyone is needed in outreach to the poor and unreached through evangelism and discipleship. Last year we directly impacted people and ministries in over 50 nations on 6 continents.
